What is MetaFest 2022?

What is Decentraland?

Decentraland is a virtual reality (or VR) platform that lets users create their own virtual worlds. Users can download a browser extension called MetaMask, which enables them to interact with the virtual land.

Decentraland was founded in 2016 by Juan Benet and backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Ventures, and other investors. In 2017, they raised $30 million from Andreessen Horowitz, UnionSquare Ventures, and others.
